Omg came here to post this. So happy!! But also Mck Wuch posted something about the new Texas A&M coach being the GOAT, her heading to Texas A&M doesn't seem logical but I am curious to see if he is able to pull some of his USAV talent in. |

I here Marquette might be opening up. Would be a good fit for the Houks, IMO. Where is Theis going (if true)? I brought him up as a possibly good fit for the Gophers before they hired Cook. |

Its all rumor now, but I thought of Houk right away because I thought he was originally from Wisconsin. (Much speculation, Vanderbilt is one guess but he may be going nowhere.) |

Man the portal is making people crazy. If I was a 19 year old volleyball player I’d be making all sorts of cryptic posts to mess with people.
Probably easier for Taylor just to come out and say it.

He was her coach for the USA team. People, especially college/high school students use “goat” all the time. |

Dunno if I should make a separate post, but… this is for Minnesota’s 2023 season, so…
I have a friend whose season ticket order is for a pair of chairback seats. However, she only needs one seat this (upcoming) season. So, she’d like to sub-lease her second seat, at cost ($300), for the season.
The available seat is in section 4, row 9, #16 (on the aisle). If you’re interested, PM me, and I’ll hook you up with her to hash out any questions/details.

“New Gophers volleyball coach Keegan Cook received a five-year contract worth $425,000 per season in a deal approved Friday by the University's Board of Regents.
Cook, 37, is replacing Hugh McCutcheon, who announced midseason that he would be stepping down as coach. McCutcheon, for comparison, made $525,000 this year.
The Gophers also agreed to cover the cost of Cook's buyout from the University of Washington for up to $400,000. He's scheduled to hold an introductory news conference on Monday at Maturi Pavilion.”

Wenaas is in the portal. Sad to see her go but happy that Taylor has made the commitment to the gophs.

With Landfair and likely Wucherer staying, Wenaas only chance at front row would be the right. MN will have Crowl and Schnicels available as options for big blocking and hitting there in her absence. It was interesting that Jerrit Elliot commented on how he felt a team needed three great littles to win a national championship. I think he's absolutely right. MN needs some big gets from the portal. Would be amazing if they snagged BOTH Murr and Gomillion. I could picture Landfair continuing to play six, subs for Wucherer and whomever plays on the right in the back row. If the subs and libero are solid, MN could be damn good next year. |

I haven’t seen Wucherer play back court but in seeing how successful Louisville was with always having a backrow outlet in all rotations, it might be nice to see if she can work in the backrow. Anyone have any insight from club or the junior national team if wucherer will have the capability to play through the back? Definitely think we need at least two littles but would love to see our OHs play if we can. |

If Jenna's in the portal, then I'm a bit heartbroken. And in that case, I hope that she finds a program that best utilizes her talents and that she can be happy in. She seems like such am intelligent and thoughtful person.
