Too much logjam at OH. Understandable, she did well on the right but she's not meant for that. Sad to see her go, she was great as Wenaasota.

I like the Minn‘s Volleyball program but if Landfair wants a move, come on down to Austin TX!! I was so impressed by her when yall played us and to be truly honest, I hope she stays in Minn and gets the Gophers on a run to the final-4 in 2023…..buuuuuuhhhhhtttt, if she wants to look around…I kid, I kid. 😉

While I’ll miss Wenaas, I don’t blame her at all. She can probably play any position if asked, but she’s All American caliber on the left.
She’s going to make a program very happy.

The good thing about the announcement re Jenna is that at least I don't have to check the portal tea thread twice a day to see if she's leaving. That she's leaving is certainly understandable and I wish her the best. I just hope that, wherever she lands, it's outside the Big10.

While not surprised, this one stings. I wish her well, really hope she doesn't go somewhere in the B1G.

Like Wenaas a lot, but hoping they can now get two quality defensive players from the portal.

Wucherer can play back row. I remember when she was playing with the USA program people commented on her passing being not the best part of her game but she has had a year to work on that. We do need two, to go along with Gray. We had three last year and used/needed all three. The portal is iffy because everyone wants those same two. Except Texas and Nebraska who have already snaggged and extra DS for next year. Maybe we can find an international player.

Assuming that we have 2 open scholarships now that Wenaas plans to leave, I am curious to see how the new coach plans to use them. 2 scholarship DS/Libero? One scholarship DS and one middle? One DS and a proven RS like Beason?

Murr and Gomillion have been mentioned as possible transfers to Minnesota. We think of them because we know the B1G best. Are there any others that have done well and are in the portal from outside the B1G?

Are there any others that have done well and are in the portal from outside the B1G? the other two best options (IMO, Hiapo and Barnes) already committed. hoping we can get one of the two you mentioned, I’m guessing they’re both looking to play libero wherever they end up

Well, I don't know who exactly is recruiting right now for Minnesota. I am hoping Cook has someone who is really good at it in mind to be an assisstant here at Minnesota.
We need a very good PASSING Libero and 2 more DS who can be digging machines. I say 2 for the latter because Gray didn't play under Hugh. Now that could change for Cook, but right now we don't know. If we get this Passing Libero, then I want to see what more Shaff can do in system. Losing 3 servers too. Yikes!!
How about another Grad Transfer MB? No doubt Booth is a starter, but Davis still needed some more work.
I think there are 3 scholarships available - CC, Wenaas and Kilkelly.

Syd’s a stud, and she’ll shine in time for the Gophers, but I’m going hard for Beason and a top libero if I’m KCook. Simply too good of an opposite to pass up if you have the chance at landing her.
Plus Shaffmaster has tons of experience throwing up that D ball with Samedy that would make the transition seemless with Beason.
