How large of a rock did you climb out from under to post this scintillating thought? 1) She’s not a girl. 2) Gender doesn’t matter 3) if that was your attempt at sarcasm, it was pathetic 4)Title IX might be 50 years old but thoughts like this show there’s a LONG way to go 5) Mary Wise has been kicking men’s asses for 36 years as a head coach but it will likely be another who wins a Natty first. |

USD is a very driven and very athletic team. Watching them in person is a very precious. I watched them during the Invitational games against Utah, UCLA, BYU and Washington State University, plus a lot of WCC games. This team was very special during the pre-season and now in the Post Season. They are very determined and has the fight to want to win. Stanford had a great season. It was very bittersweet for me to watch them lose and for USD to win. I'm a follower for both teams. The USD coach went to my high school which was icing on the cake for me. OLE OLE OLE Toreros. I was a follower for USD since 1987, Stanford since 1981.

Nice effort. I did say that I didn’t think San Diego should be the one. They won and I’m thrilled for the Toreros and San Diego. But please don’t conflate my comment about seeding and somehow tying it to Coach Petrie. I never mentioned their coach or gender as you so inappropriately chose to. Later and get used to Hambly, and other male coaches, having their teams bested by teams coached by women. |
