Texas serving will again be critical. If they can continue the pressure they have applied this tournament things look good for Texas.

It will be interesting to see which OH Elliot matches up with Londot I’d imagine Madi for a better block right? this is one of those games where we disregard what rotation we start in. we NEED skinner in front of front-row Londot for all three rotations. we’ve seen all six servers can put massive pressure on opponents and we don’t seem to care where Molly is so, Skinner vs Londot PLEASE

Of interesting note in this match that Ohio State has zero transfers on their roster and Texas has 7 (including 5 or 6 who will play tomorrow).

Texas will win this match 3-1
The opening frame will be back and forth until about the media TO then Eggleston will rotate to the back court and go on a 5-0 run to create some separation and the Longhorns will win the opening set 25-20. Ohio State will make things interesting by evening the match with a 25-21 set two victory in which Londot collects 8 kills. The Bucks will keep the momentum going into the third set and have two set points at their disposal, but Skinner will have an answer and have back to back kills to tie it at 24 all. Both teams will go back and forth but Texas will end the third set 29-27 and that will take away any momentum OSU has into the fourth set in which Texas will take the final set 25-18 and end OSU's season. and head to Omaha

I had a totally disproved thought that OSU would be at a disadvantage playing in Gregory compared to Minnesota (as an eventual opponent) to Texas in the Austin Regional due to their first trip ever to Gregory. Whereas Minnesota played in Gregory at the start of the season. The thought that they might have serving issues due to the sight lines and the court that was new to them.
Then of course, I forgot that Regionals uses the generic blue court so that home court advantage would be slightly nullified.
OSU service errors against Minny: 14 Texas service errors against Marquette: 13
Sigh.
But if I wanted to argue with myself, the flip side might be:
OSU aces: 4 Texas aces: 10
Meh. Just babbling, waiting to kill time.

What does it mean when people do this? So the VT comment engine registers them as contributed to the thread and they'll get a notification that someone has added a new comment to a thread.
The trick, is to teach VT comment engine how to get you OFF the notification list. Lessons to be provided offline.

The rediscovery of the Rader connection couldn’t have come at a better time for tOSU. And if Londot plays like she did yesterday this could be an insane match. I hope the buckeyes at least take a set to make things interesting. As a fan of other teams in the tourney, I just want a good match. It will be interesting to see which OH Elliot matches up with Londot i think madi but who knows

can someone confirm if Londot has any injuries, watching the Six Rotations video.. Mick who was at the match said he saw her walk out of the gym with a cast on her foot ? a boot? they help with swelling and help keep pressure off of that foot/leg. maybe a slight ankle sprain or something that they're nursing

She was in a walking boot while watching the High Point/USC match before round 1 last Friday. My friend in grad school said she saw Londot on campus wearing the boot after the away Minnesota match back in October. I know one potential injury that can keep a player in a walking boot is a stress fracture, but obviously that is speculation and OSU has released no information.

That Minnesota match was practically a day off for her. Hardly saw any action whatsoever. If she plays like that with a boot on every pregame and post game, maybe every player should be wearing boots. It's like a release the kraken feature.
