Yes. I’ve seen it in the flames. We took them to 5 sets twice in 2022. I like our chances.

I'm really excited for this team! Can't wait to see them gel and play like one unit and hard as they did last year. I want to see PSU back on top. I think a podraza and weatherington connection is going to be a great one.

I am very excited for next season, Penn State is going to be a very hard opponent to beat if all the newbies can gel together nicely. Going to be fun to watch more of them against the Badgers!!

I have a feeling there’s at least 1 more “newbie” coming

Zoe Weatherington and Taylor Trammel are among the athletes featured in this video honoring Black History Month:

Have been seeing some other threads do this and don’t think i’ve come across it for Penn State yet, so what do we think the starting lineup could look like next season? It’ll be really interesting to see how the back row is set up considering there’s a 6-rotation hitter again. My best guess is:
S: Podraza OH1: Mruzik OH2: Markley/Starck DS RS: Weatherington/Kuerschen DS L: Bilinovic M1: Holland M2: Trammell/Grimes serve
I do think there will be lots of competition in the gym to shake things up and wouldn’t be surprised to see Hannah as RS or even OH2. Also wouldn’t be surprised to see Grimes play back row for Markley instead of Starck but kept her there in hopes she’ll add a better back row attack option next season. I’m sure there will be a few test run with the lineup at the beginning of the season.

Agree with everything but I think Grimes has that first DS spot pretty locked could see Kuerschen being the serving sub. Definitely will be interesting to see the competition on the pins!!

PSU is on my new favorites list. I think Mruzik could finally have her big breakout year now that she doesn’t have to shoulder 70% of the offensive load. Podraza obviously will lock down second contact. I also am excited to see trammel for a full season hopefully. I have high expectations but tbh I won’t be satisfied unless Podraza randomly develops a wicked jumó serve

None of these proposed lineups above are correct when all said an done.
But it's fun how much competition and depth is evident, which may be the best part.
