Any mention of salary for coach and his staff? Private school, will never get an actual figure unless you know someone, but I know the women’s basketball coach makes 600k a year, Shaka is upwards of $3m (Not including the $9m buyout of Wojo) I would guess after incentives probably like the 400k range? Which would put him in line with a middle of the road Big Ten coach. No way. Last year's AVCA salary survey had two Big East coaches over $110k. I don’t think it’s unfair to say Theis has an earning potential of $400k a year. If you wanna play with the top, you gotta pay the coach you’ll think will get you there. |

Hey, remember when the ACC got 2 teams in the Final Four, and the third team in the league was pretty good, but couldn't beat them, coming pretty close once, but Marquette beat them in the Second Round before losing to what was clearly ultimately the best team and National Champs on the road? Yeah! Wisconsin fan, Creighton over Marquette to to KBB fellow Bulldog alum ties, but I have tremendous respect for Marquette volleyball, for good reason! Bond did a good job, and Theis has done even better, and the Al McGuire Center is a great venue! Hoping Marquette gets the new attendance record at Fiserv in September!

3/31 vs Wisconsin (evening match)
4/15 vs Iowa early evening match in Dubuque
4/22 in Grand Rapids MI (not sure against who)
