Skinner not only won two nattys at two different schools, but at two different positions! That will stand alone for a while probably. With the new transfer rules and the portal, who know. But pretty special to be the only one. As a Kentucky fan I'm still bitter though.

More than anything this is a saddening loss for the sleeveless + arm sleeve fits vs the baggy long sleeves. That’s who truly lost tonight. In all seriousness, those Louisville uniforms today were 🔥! I’m not a fan of the long sleeve an especially the baggy tops but whatever makes the players comfortable. Light the Tower Burnt Orange Baby!! Banners Fly Forever. So awesome to see all the homegrown recruits play so well and contribute. Transfers just added a touch of magic but Logan, Molly, and Asjia were the catalyst to this Championship. Really happy for Zoe Fleck, MS, Akana, & SKT as well….and my goodness how good is true-Fr Emma Halter?

How the heck did TX lose to Iowa St? I'm thinking it was staged. Never a night off in the B12.

Absolute 🔥🔥🔥 I would honestly love to see Texas adopt the look, I’m sure Nike would kill it for them. Not to mention every time I see a Texas player close up it seems like they’re sweating bullets lol And I am officially a Halter stan. Did I hear correctly she was passing close to a 3.0 during the tournament? I got lightheaded thinking about that, thats insane. She and Akana will definitely hold them down next season after Fleck leaves.

Never a night off in the B12. I beg to differ... B12 is very weak for volleyball…Jarrett spoke about this game in one of the pressers as did Logan.

I miss the time when there was no extra covid year and teams/players only get 4 chances in their collegiate year to get the Natty.
Eggleston, Rettke, Fleck to name a few - all wonderful players but got their nattys in their 5th year.
You have to feel for the new recruits - recruits like Kahahawai and Halter - who could’ve started but then 5th year players are around.
Bitter but this is the sad reality.

Finally got to watch it, and it was kind of nice to enjoy it without the stress of seeing it live

Congrats to the Texas Transfer All-Stars for winning the National Championship. Flame me all you want, but that wasn't a fair fight. Not when the winning team often had transfers playing in 4 of the 6 positions on the court.
I've got no dog in this fight, so it's not a matter of who had the unfair advantage. But it flat out is unfair and the AVCA needs to fix it.
Some international pro leagues have rules that limit how many players can be out of country or from some given country. You could do something similar here. For example, you can have as many transfers as you want on your team, but you can't have more than 2 on court at any time. That would be a reasonable limit.
In the meantime, a serious congrats to Louisville for being the best mostly home grown team in the country.

Can we finally put the teams in the thread title? It sets off my OCD seeing it like this.

It’s not like the Texas bench isn’t full of top players lol. Zoe was the player that changed everything for Texas. Without her, Texas is the same teams it’s been for the last 20 years. Incredible hitting but mediocre ball control.
