Transfer U. Netflix should put them on a series. Louisville?! There were two transfers on Louisville's whole roster this year, and one of them barely saw the playing floor. At this point, were set to have two again next year, one of which is the one that barely saw the playing floor this year. there was rotations were 5 of the 6 players on the floor for texas were transfers. san Diego and pitt have rotations where half of them are transfers. there's a small number of teams who were in top team conversation with 1 or 0 key transfers (Louisville, stanford, oregon, osu, minneosta) point is, 2022s team was very much Louisville volleyball. pretty much everyone was recruited and trained at Louisville. a lot of the other teams had to rely on multiple experienced transfers who were trained elsewhere to get them far in the tourney. imo, some of those other teams didn't feel like actual teams or programs more than a bunch of studs put together for a couple months

Without transfers, Louisville has no chance of getting to the Final Four, either year. And that’s ok. Why get defensive about seeking transfers. My only concern is when you show good kids the door to bring in shiny new objects.

I'm just curious why you're hanging this claim on Louisville so much, cause...yeah, no, that's really not happening here. Yes, we typically have a player or two leave each year, and get in roughly the same, and yes, in the past past couple of years we've had some really great players join the team from transfers. No defensiveness here about that. Trying to hang the label of "Transfer U" and making a crack about how it should be a Netflix show is ridiculous. You wanna say that about Texas, as stanfordvb pointed out? Sure, but it's a pretty ridiculous charge for Louisville. I've talked to the coaching staff about this even. They do not take scholarships away from players before their four years of playing are done in order to get in other players via transfers. They just don't do it. There is no pushing players out to get transfers here.

Without transfers, Louisville has no chance of getting to the Final Four, id say they had a better chance than any other team in the final 4 this year considering they only would have had 1 different player. texas would've lost fleck, skt, skinner, akana, and Caffey pitt would buzzerio, grey and dalton San Diego would lose Edwards, Blackwell, and blossom all of those scenarios are bigger losses than Louisville losing Lazaro lol

Of course if a coach thinks they want one player in place of another.. they find ways to make it happen from the player. Mess with the stats, let it known to the team they are not excited about that player, give the other more attention. Etc. It's very common. I am not saying they did any of that but to say what they told you is complete truth is naive. Both coaches learned a great deal working under Cook and even he is finding in today's game he can no longer bench freshman to wait their turn. The competition is too strong now. Just making a point in general. Louisville coaches are greatly respected.

I don’t know much about her, will she be a potential starting setter or added for setter depth?

Congratulations to Reese on winning the Triple Crown NIT with her club team this past weekend! Excited to see how she fits with the team in the fall. I saw her and thought she looked very solid. lateral speed and vertical could be an issue at the next level, she does have one heck of a float serve tho and made some nice digs back there too after her serve. louisville has 3 MBs, two who have seen significant time so it will be tough for Robbins, I could see her redshirting in her first season but would love if she could make an immediate impact Hannah sherman, who redshirted last season, I thought looked very good in club so keep an eye out for her to get one of those spots
