pitt pulled it off. they were down big in the 5th and got it done I watched from the 5-4 point in the 5th. Louisville coach blew it using her last challenge for an iffy call (claimed it was 4 touches).
Then to see the golden child Anna DeBeer hitting into the net on a roll shot to seal the game was extra special.
One thing I thought was amazing was in the middle of the 5th, the ball was on the far left pin and the Pitt setter did a backset all the way across the court to the D-ball location, where the hitter crushed it. Amazing.
didnt DeBeer have like 31 kills though, the loss wasn’t her fault It’s always rough when your error ends the match, but the entire team got you to that situation

Pitt has four losses, including one unranked team, same with Louisville.

I can't tell if folks are joking, or serious. Wisconsin barely has 3 losses; they are not at risk to lose a Top 4 national seed, IMO. If they lose to Nebraska at home next weekend, perhaps things change; but, I doubt it.

Texas doesn’t have any marquee wins and has some BAD losses, but we’ve also had 10 wins over top 25 teams. Like that’s a lot Poll rankings don't factor in. Texas doesn't have 10 wins over top 25 RPI teams (they only have 4, two each against Kansas and BYU all in Austin). They do have 12 over top 50 teams though, which is great.

Pitt: Miami, Syracuse. 2-0 Wisconsin: Indiana, Nebraska, Iowa. 2-1 Louisville: Georgia Tech. 0-1? Nah, probably 1-0 after losing to Pitt Oregon: Arizona, USC, Oregon State. 2-1
So, I think:
1. Nebraska 2. Stanford 3. Louisville 4. Wisconsin 5. Texas 6. Pitt 7. Oregon

Texas will NOT be a top 4 this year unless something catastrophic happens next week for the teams above them

I see us either 6 or 7. Prob going to Madison/Palo Alto/ACC duo. I would be surprised to see us against Nebraska at 8, or at 5.

What does it feel like to have a dependable D-ball bail-out hitter, I wonder?
