I know we would likely have a better chance at beating ASU than Stanford, but I gotta say I’m glad our hitters aren’t squaring off against Scholl
She was digging out of her mind last night

It's going to start on time. The question is whether the previous match will have completed so that the start can be shown. More likely the first [x] minutes will not be broadcast on ESPNU I feel like you two just said the same thing. Yes, I misunderstood the post. I'm distracted by having to do my actual job in between VT posts

That’s not the point of what the critics are saying about this. Just because “men’s programs do it all the time” don’t make it right. I don’t claim Asija for playing with passion, the social media team needs to do better than to set up athletes for criticism and personal attacks. It’s obvious that Moore was upset by the post. Isn’t that enough to show some sympathy and take it down?

With all the talk about NCAA requiring Taraflex flooring in order to host regionals in 2024, do we think that our resistance to switching over will come to an end? Or will we rent a Taraflex floor in the event we get to host? Obviously a lot of what-ifs in that situation, but interesting to think about since it seems that we have purposefully avoided switching over from hardwood to Taraflex (I understand Gregory's multi-use purposes as a rec facility and concerns over the floor's storage). I mean, with the SEC move next year we will have to update at least a section of the floor anyway to switch out the logos, no? Or alternatively will NCAA be sending out their own standard Taraflex to the host sites? I have seen nothing to indicate the NCAA is sending a floor out. They’re basically saying if you don’t have a Taraflex floor you don’t get to host. Kind of like the capacity requirement. I don’t know what the solution will be. I just know there will be one. It’s not really in the nature of UT to rent a floor. But I don’t understand all the logistical issues involved in installing, removing, and storing a Taraflex floor for regular use, and so I don’t understand the intransigence on the issue. I'm a bit confused here. Maybe y'all can explain this odd diversion away from the debate about social media pictures. When I was a casual fan and would pick up tickets to the first 4 rounds of the playoffs in Gregory, I would notice that the 3rd and 4th rounds (Regionals) would have our old, wooden floor transformed into a blue floor. When I asked why that was, someone said "It has to do with fairness. They're trying to make the court neutral so that some designs (I'm looking at you Oregon) don't make it a home court advantage to the hosting Regional team. Okay. But on the flip side, it's okay to be unfair the first two rounds? Anyway, I went back and searched just the last 3 years as a quick sample of the flooring in Gregory in Regionals. They're all the neutral blue (I know sometimes it's a different color - so chill out nitpickers).
So yeah, when it's Regionals Texas goes and rents Terrraflex. What's the big deal? As it relates to Texas?
BTW, it was asked of JE if he would ever convert Gregory into Terraflex and he said no. There is no storage space in old, cramped Gregory to store the floor (nearby). He didn't say this, but you don't want the floor ruined by non-volleyball users of the space. Texas volleyball actually "rents" the playing arena from Texas Rec Sports.
Added: And I have seen them taking the floor apart and carting it away to return to the leaser. It's a lot of boxes!

People get competitive and talk %*$#. *please see the many Texas haters posting in the Tennessee match thread and literally any other thread* If we as Texas fans gotta listen to the haters all day everyday then we have every right to talk our %*$# back. Especially when our team pulls out a win like last night’s.

I had a dream Miller was in the portal last night. So I think it’s safe to say she’s gone.

thats sport court, which is a bunch of plasticity modular squares that stick together. Terraflex is a giant roll of rubbery stuff, so different difficulties installing and storing it

So be it, then. I don’t see it the same way, but we can agree to disagree. Winning is hard. Losing sucks. That’s life. The celebration of victory is necessary to remind ourselves why we put all the work into it in the first place. The public celebration of victory is to unite ourselves as a tribe to encourage our continued identification and shared community. I don’t see that post as trash talk in any way. I see it as a powerful encapsulation of the drive to triumph.

Texas has money. That's not going to prevent them from hosting a Regional.

Yeah, I don’t know what the solution will be. Only that there will be one.
