Anyway I’m hoping the NCAA got better editors for the promo content this year because last year’s final product for the championship match looked cheap.

I don't understand. What Wisconsin fans have Texas fans been denigrating? Was this your answer? I think Wisconsin has the team to beat the Longhorns. I think Texas is the underdog here. Doesn't mean Texas can't win. I thought they were the underdog against Stanford and that worked out okay. I'm not offended by anyone. I don't think anyone has ever put up a post on volleytalk that has actually offended me. Ever. I've seen some that had me raise my eyebrows and wonder how long it was going to last, but it didn't offend me. I haven't seen anything like that from you or anyone else lately. Why should I care about your discernment? What are you so amazing about in terms of discernment? I find your reply to me completely bizarre. I don't understand your point. Texas fans calling out Wisconsin fans for behavior. Yes. Arrogant fans. It's earlier in this thread. And your celebration of how the team acts, thinks, way of being. Congrats. You can celebrate your team without being obtuse towards others. Was what was said earlier in the thread proportional to what you're doing now?

I honestly don't know what you're referring to. Are you saying Texas fans are calling out Wisconsin fans for being arrogant about a victory? I just couldn't be bothered. I'd be arrogant about a victory if I was a Wisconsin fan. I think Texas has a limited window for victory, but it's still possible. Same way they beat Tennessee and Stanford. Serve well. Block well. Play defense. Rely on Skinner and O'Neal. Don't commit too many hitting errors. Win the long rallies. We need some help from Wisconsin. Hopefully they have issues with passing. Hopefully the Texas block and back row defense can help prevent Wisconsin from going hog wild out of system. Hopefully Wisconsin commits more hitting errors than they're used to. Hopefully they don't go crazy with their block. Lots of hopefullys. I'd love to see lots of sideouts and extended sets so Wisconsin runs out of subs. Both teams, coaching staffs, and programs have been here plenty of times before. Everyone is going to have a lot of confidence they can make it to the next round. Let's see what happens.

I hate doing that kind of crap (searching for past posts). But I don't understand what you're referring to and I'd sincerely like to have a better idea where you're coming from. Thank you for your effort when you're able to get to it.

Love today's Volleyballmag.com write up of the team: (full article volleyballmag.com/ncaa-volleyball-semifinals-report-121323/)Youth is served at TexasNo doubt the improvement of freshman setter Ella Swindle coincides with Texas being here. But it was quite a process. The Longhorns struggled offensively at times early on, but of late have been lighting it up offensively. The last 12 matches Texas has hit .330 or higher six times and have never dipped below .241, which was not the case early on. Four times in the first 12 matches the Longhorns hit below .200. Texas coach Jerritt Elliott talked about it Wednesday when he was at the news-conference podium with Skinner and O’Neal. “The maturity, you see the people sitting up here, the quality people they are, when you have a young setter there’s a lot of frustrations early on. You could never see it from the way they wore it on the sleeve, the way they talked to Ella. They were always in her corner supporting her and just telling her that it was going to get to this point,” Elliott said. “They could have ruined her confidence early on, but because of the women they are, they just were such good teammates and added to her confidence and gave her a lot of good things to think about.”

Texas has been very fortunate to have players who are great athletes and also tremendous human beings.
