I imagine they'll set something up to go to Palo Alto later in preconference If we play Stanford in this high octane mini-tournament, I would assume we would NOT schedule Stanford for another pre-conference game. I mean, the mini-tournament IS the preconference game! well yes but we play Wisconsin and Minnesota in Milwaukee stands to reason we'll play Stanford at a later date |

She's an BIG 10 Analyst and mostly sees Big 10...so yeah... I know she’s super biased but I secretly thought she had some pretty fair analysis skills, like enough to at least respect the opponent even if you think someone is a clear favorite lol |

I feel like we didn't talk much in this thread about Asjia being the #1 overall pick in the inaugural PVF draft... lowkey I was hoping she'd go overseas but she's also making history this way She can still do both. Lots of players are drafted in one league and then go to another. The team that drafted her still keeps her rights. That’s how the Cowboys ended up with Herschel Walker even though he originally played for Donald Trumps’ Generals. Once Walker went to the NFL, he went to Dallas because they had his rights. Lots of other examples, too, but that’s a big one. |

I feel like we didn't talk much in this thread about Asjia being the #1 overall pick in the inaugural PVF draft... lowkey I was hoping she'd go overseas but she's also making history this way I think her going 1st is huge for the league too. As much as the constant Jermaine mentions can be tiring, the tie-ins with her draft announcement have gotten notice from people who don't watch volleyball and didn't know there was a league. I don't know how many other players in the draft could generate that kind of buzz from outside the volleyball world.
Also, it's just been great to watch Asjia grow as a player in her time at Texas. Each year, she's gotten better and better. Even this year, you can see how she's taken on a leadership role that I think will help her professionally. Now we need her to close out her great college career with another Natty! 🤘 Wait. What’s tiring about the Jermaine O’Neal mentions? I love them! I’ll miss them when she’s gone. |
