This program is steadily and clearly improving. These hack wannabes find it easy to throw shade. I would imagine they couldn’t even keep a head coaching job much les improve a Big 10 team. I'd pick Michigan State to finish in the top half of every other conference next year. |

lol Michigan state optimism is a fun thing to observe Not sure if this is sarcasm, but I do think it’s a fun thing. Grew up with two childhood friends who loved MSU and eventually went there to play…my parents were big fans of VB in general so we went to the UM/MSU games every year for like the first 15 years of my life…. I’m kind of surprised I’ve seen any negativity over MSU taking strides. I think it might be because of how deep the league is, but I will always celebrate a program (especially the one I like) taking continuous quality steps in the right direction. |

MSU is back today with a scrimmage against Notre Dame. It won’t be streamed but I hope we still get scores and a write-up.
I’m cautiously optimistic about this season. Spartan fans deserve a good 2024 campaign!

Not sure if there are many Spartan Vball fans near South Bend. It would be nice if some fans that were attending today (its free), could give a report..... Maybe even from Notre Dame fans that may go.

Holdem
Setters:
Muisenga
Bishop
Middles:
Okur
Libero/DS:
Iosia
Bolton
Based on an Instagram reel, it looks like Zuzanna Kulig may be injured. I am guessing Doezma was the other middle.

No scores on social media, but judging from MSU’s Instagram I can see that the following players saw court time: Outsides: Courtley Anderson Preston Holdem Setters: Muisenga Bishop Middles: Okur Libero/DS: Iosia Bolton Based on an Instagram reel, it looks like Zuzanna Kulig may be injured. I am guessing Doezma was the other middle. If MSU is gonna run the 6-2 again this year, I’m intrigued that we didn’t see any Berger in the scrimmage. I really felt like she had some growing pains but ran a solid offense…..but alas 🤷 |

Excited for the actual season to start. So many things to be excited about, but the team needs to pull it all together. Was hoping to hear about a win, but this will help me temper my expectations. Heard it was a bit sloppy on the Spartan end of things.

I'm here to eat crow, since I had high hopes for the team with a few new additions. The team as a whole looked slow and one dimensional. Losing as bad as they did to a Big Sky Conference opponent is not the start I was hoping for. Hoping Iosia is ok and time to regroup!
