This 17 Open field is absolutely stacked. Some odd seeding choices, though. No matter, it’s gonna take some serious ball to win this weekend in Indy. Should be lots of fun.

Is there ever any more than 3 bids given in open regardless how many teams are in it?

Day one news...Pools 1, 2, 4, & 9 had the two seeds fail to stay in the top bracket. Metro getting 2nd puts them with Dynasty, Elevation, & Circle City tomorrow. Alamo Premier as the top seed in pool 11 goes 1-2 for 3rd.

So it’s CO Juniors, 1st Alliance and Boilers with the bids from MEQ. Shocked that NKYVC didn’t pick up a bid here.

So how does NKYVC already have a National level bid? Does each region pass those out differently? A
And is National level considered the 2nd best or is USA considered 2nd best? I know the order is Open, National, USA but it seems like some regions give away their national bids so they could be lower than a earned USA bid?

Yes, the regions award one national bid to their regional qualifier winner. National is the next division after Open and is extremely competitive as it is loaded with teams that were in the hunt for open bids.
