Erin Virtue to Michigan. What an amazing hire for them! Now there is no reason UNC cannot pull in a coach like Brittany Dildine, Dan Meske, Kelli Miller Phillips, or Ryan Theis (I know, I can't let it go!).

Virtue to Michigan. Now wondering if any of the applicants who didnt get the job at UM apply to UNC or have already.
I still think we have our answer before the end of the month.

If UNC is taking applications then UNC isnt serious about this job search: UNC MAKES A LIST AND CALLS : they do not go through applications !!! This is true.....but some of the names on both lists may seriously change their tune now that UM is closed.....domino effect UNC has there first, second, third choices: they are recruiting. Now they may check to see what Virtue’s contract $$’s are so they have a basis for what they need to offer! But anyome who interviewed at Michigan knew there chances when the left that campus |

Uhmm, definitely not the $$ Doesn't matter how much they have in the bank. What matters is how much they're willing to spend on volleyball. This is correct. UNC has been way behind the top of the conference in financial support for volleyball for a long time. I doubt this changes with the current AD. |

If Bubba finds the one he wants and genuinely likes them, he will rake out the money....
If Bubba has to settle for 3rd or 4th, he wont budge on money. Then comes in Mike....BC will go for the big one and settle if he doesn't get it with someone that will be ok with less than desirable money.
I think that if we dont get the #1 or #2 BC really wants, Mike will be the HC because Mike already knows the limited salary UNC has had in the past....thats how BC rolls in all olympic sports.
