if youre in your first year in korea: 250k 2nd season or more: 300k (that is assuming they fulfill their contract) and then plus bonuses. since willow is a replacement player, she'll get something like 30k per month (I think) What are players playing in PVF making? I just keep hearing a living wage. Standard contract is 60k+bonuses, living accommodations and use of a vehicle. Each team can tag two "franchise" players. They are expected to live in the area, as they will do promotional work year-round. As a result, they do not get a vehicle or accommodations, but are paid $100k +bonuses. Bonuses include wins, playoff wins, team MVP at each position, league MVP at each position. Teams also share a $1M bonus for a Championship win.

I know Grand Rapids has Alyssa Jensen and Emiliya Dimitrova.
Omaha has Valentin and Prososki.
I'm not sure about the rest of the teams.

Are more Americans being released from their overseas teams than usual this year? Not considering any who chose to return to the US to play AU or PVF. Seems like I’m seeing more releases than in the past. Anyone else see a trend?

I’ve had a hard time finding a thread for this post so I’ll try here! I’m moving to Odense, Denmark and am wondering if anyone has advice or knowledge on following Volleyball? I’m bummed to leave my season tickets for Wisconsin behind, but I’d love to catch some pro matches. I’m having trouble locating where/when the Danish national team plays or if there are regular matches to attend in Odense or Copenhagen.

I cant get the league page to work... but it looks like there is a team in Odense www.dhv-odense.dk/there's a few americans in the league

Volleyball is not exactly a big sport in the Scandinavian countries. Denmark has a league though volleyligaen.dk/kvinder/ and it looks like Odense has a team, just like avid 2.0 linked above. But don't expect to watch any high level volleyball there lol. If you want to watch good pro VB I'd recommend that you take a weekend trip to Italy. Or if you want something closer to Denmark maybe go watch a German pro match (Schwerin is probably the city closest to Denmark with a team in Bundesliga). For NT there is Euro Leagues in May-June but the Danish women's NT won't play it. But if you want to go across the border from Copenhagen to Lund in Sweden you can watch Sweden's NT Isabelle Haak play vs. Spain and Belgium in May ( link).

Wisconsin would be the chanpion over in their league. There are so many cheap flights within Europe. Take one to Italy or Turkey. Problem with Italy is that Conegliano(best team) is located in a village lol. Maybe Scandicci in Florence would be a good choice. Also other top team, Milano's hall is way too outside of center of Milano. Most probably, Istanbul will host Champions League finals for men and women, both games in a row. Turkish economy is still terrible, it'd be a good trip in a fantastic city.

Was she re-injured, or just not playing enough? Wondering if she still has time to show up in PVF somewhere…
