updated with fall schedule and coach addition The pic of that schedule cuts off (at least on my phone) , but they also play Texas Tech twice and then UH once to close out the season.

They have a very favorable schedule from a wins standpoint. They don’t have to play at BYU or at Texas or at Iowa State. Those are probably the 3 toughest places to play in the Big 12.

The full Non-Conference schedule
@ Portland State San Diego State (N) Cal State Fullerton (N) Omaha Nebraska @lipscomb UT Martin (N) Long Island Rice
SD State was the only team that had a bad record last year. Nebraska will be very difficult to beat - even at home - and getting Rice and Omaha at home will help.
Not sure playing BYU and Texas at home is better than playing them twice on the road? Beating those teams is going to be very hard regardless of where the game is played - and that uses up 3 of the 9 conference home games.
It will be interesting to see how helpful the new arena will be for K-State volleyball? Obviously, an improvement for recruiting - but also it should be a much better home court advantage than the too large place they were playing before.

Also - that non-conference schedule doesn't look like they will be getting the RPI scheduling bonus. That can be a big deal for a bubble type team.

I know nothing about this 2025 except for what I read in the article, but if she has 700+ kills in a season, was she recruited as a libero? Sounds like an attacker to me.

Never mentioned her position either but I just saw all the kills so I wasn't sure. Thank you for the clarification.
