I think Myers has a decent shot at starting over Gregorski. The L2 that wins the job will be the best combination of passing and hitting. It will be a battle for all the pin positions if Carter doesn’t perform. All will probably see time in non-con. The only position that is a lock is Bolding.

I think Izzi will be setting not hitting... Will they run a 5-1 or 6-2, do you think? If a 6-2, who will be the other setter?

LeGarde was highly rated setter coming out of HS last year - so she is an option in a 6-2. In addition - Szulczewski is listed as a S - not a S/OH or S/RS on the roster.
Not knowing what they did in the spring or what they are doing now - my guess would be:
S: Hinkle S: Szulcewski OH: Carter OH: Gregorski MB: Bolding MB: Fernholz RS: Myers RS: Wilson L: Morris
There are several variations from this. Szulcewski could hit and set if Wilson isn't ready. Myers is probably playing somewhere - and is probably best suited for the RS among their 3 LS hitters. LeGarde is an option for setting. And - they could go with a 5-1.

No idea. Have popcorn ready for comments though. S-Hinkle L1-Carter L2-Gregorski M1- Fernholz M2- Bolding Opp- Szulczweski L- Morris There is some depth at outside but Gregorski being a DS at Wisky is probably the best passer of all the pins. No way Myers is getting benched at outside. She was their best outside last year.

They had Szulczewski and Hinkle running a 6-2 on one side of the net and Legrand in a 5-1 on the other side. Didn’t see Myers play a lot at Opp but would be most likely to play there between Gregorski, Carter and her. Clinton and Fox will provide depth and could play at both pins.

Volleyfan It looks like the roster has updated headshots if you wanted to update the OP Yes it has. Thank you. I'll do that.

I don't how I so quickly forgot about Reagan Fox - she most certainly will be in the mix and this team has many OH's to choose from. This conference is deep - I think Kansas State is going to be pretty good.

Ugh. Bad loss against Lipscomb in 5. At least they didn't give up and came back from 0-2. They up 10-5 in the 5th, but then lost it:(. Serve receive is not consistent at all and is downright horrid at times. Gregorski really struggling with passing. Morris and Carter also not doing so well passing serve. They need to find some solutions to this to pull some upsets otherwise they are doomed to the bottom half of the Big12:( and no post season.

Post season will be a stretch because of the weak pre-season schedule. If they finish 7th with a slightly winning record, their pre-season choices will not help them. This team should be in the top half with the returning talent.

Hoping Gregorski and the Wildcats can get things going well soon! Looking at the schedule and the same attendance for two matches, two home sellouts, right? That is awesome, at least!

By my calculations - they would probably need to beat Rice and then go 9-9 in conference to have a decent chance of making the tournament. Beating Lipscomb would have given them an extra game margin of error. Yes - there RPI schedule isn't all that good - but it is better than Kansas or UCF who also have real potential RPI issues this year.

3-0 loss to Rice. First game passing again was pretty poor and thus a complete blow out. It got to maybe average passing through 2nd and 3rd sets, but still too many "wow that was bad" or "wow that was poor choice" type of plays. Izzi went down with ankle injury in the 3rd and didn't return. She didn't have a bad limp when she was walking off, so maybe positive news there.

Ugh again. After going 1-1 with TCU, KSU beat wvu in 3 and the played poorly against Cincy and lost 3-1. Just about everyone hit like junk. Out of the 3 OH, only carter hit > 0.100 at 0.135 so not even good. Clinton still very inconsistent and Myers playing no where near how she played last year. Lots of switching between the 6-2 and the 5-1. Team would be better off committing to the 5-1 and letting Izzi set and try to get some consistency establish. Seems like they need 8 win to be able to make it to the tourney which isn't going to happen from what i have seen so far. I had some hope after the TCU game, but not much anymore. They may pull off some upsets, just as likely to lose against winnable games @ou and Ttech that are left. Looks like Carter and Morris have both said they will come back next year.
