So if Amber is here that means she didn’t advance in the tryouts? She didn't attend the tryouts. Word is she got an invite to a training block and declined to tryout afterwards.

Minnesota must still be at Waikiki Beach, at least mind wise.

Why would she decline? I don’t know how these tryouts workout regarding advancing and invites but I think Amber is talented enough to go all the way through.

Looks like Minnesota's players minds finally arrived at the Stan.

Without Ham, the Wahine backrow is very, very weak, with only Ikenaga trying to cover the whole back row.

Looks like Robyn switched to a 6-2, with Matias in for De Goede, and Ham in for Lang.

Can anybody there give insight into why it's such a low-blocking game (still just the one according to the live stats) My guess would be lack of scouting/awareness of the opponent’s system. There’ve been a few more blocks in set 2 at least.

I mean this is spring. Not even sure if Minnesota even prepared for this. If it helps UH attract talent then Bows should take advantage lol Say it louder for the people in the back!! Lol Like most on other threads were thinking this would be a nice Hawaii trip and easy win for the Top P5 teams but all I want is for the Wahine to show they can hang with the best of them, that’s what the program needs to finally get out of this 2020 downturn

The only 2 Wahine players Minnesota could scout would be Amber and Caylen, if Minnesota did any scouting at all. Ham rarely played on the Outside or Opposite, and Westerberg was a Middle, all last season.

Would like to see Bamis in set 3 and more Jackie! Not like I’m seeing anything but “reading stats” lol
