Interesting the Minnesota has called 3 time outs, 1 in each set. Robyn has not called a time out yet. She is letting her players figure it out, play through any down moments.

Can anybody there give insight into why it's such a low-blocking game (still just the one according to the live stats) My guess would be lack of scouting/awareness of the opponent’s system. There’ve been a few more blocks in set 2 at least. Aren't spring matches mostly just used as a sanctioned opportunity for players to just play - get some reps in, perhaps work on some fundamentals, give some new faces an opportunity to gel with the team, perhaps try some new things. These matches have no record book implications. Other than mere bragging rights that nobody will remember in a year, I'm not sure why any team would waste hours scouting when they could be using that time to play?

I've heard of cases where opposing coaches also work together to test their players. (Hey can you serve zone 1 a lot? And so forth)

Jacyn Bamis in for Amber Igiede in the 4th Set. Landfair not starting the 4th Set for Minnesota. Minnesota leaving Hanson in and also putting in a new Middle (McGhee). Let's see if he Bamis change allows Minnesota other middle to be more productive.

That one time I saw Bamis attempting to block she was late and slow.

She’s a setter that’s maybe 5’9”

Looks like Minnesota is running a 6-2 with McGhie/Schnichels and Shaffmaster/Crowl and Hanson on the left.
