Red Rock Rave thoughts:
God that Skyline team is good. A great OH (Austin) that can hit a ball harder than I’ve seen anyone else in 15s. Two athletic middles and an incredible OPP (Clarke). Good setters and a scrappy bro.
MadFrog’s libero is crazy good. Certainly the best in NTR. Hannah Lee the middle is the most aggressive and intense player in 15s hands down. Their right sides do a good job, score when needed and dependable.
Alamo is so athletic. Their middle/setter, Mann(?), has such good court awareness.
HOUSTON SKYLINE’S HALLE THOMPSON. Wow. Is she amazing. I think she got hurt day 2 but she’s got to be one of the best 2026s.
SCVC has two good outsides, Flanagan and Destler. Flanagan is really something. She reaches soo high and passes and defends well.
Drive Nation 15 Red’s Coach was the talk of the tournament. I was watching their game and parents and coaches were all coming over to ask the parents what they thought of him and how crazy his behavior was. I heard he said in the middle of the third set “I’ve coaches long enough to know when my team is about to lose, and we’re about to lose”. So much for motivation

So much for motivation Hey, at least the man knows he's a loser. Perfect example of a coach who is in it for himself and not to teach lessons to the players.

That guy has done quite well in club VB and the kids have loved playing for him in the past
Unsure if that has changed recently

That's a pretty confident statement based on one 3rd hand sentence. Maybe he was trying to motivate a team of fighters by telling them that they had no chance? I could see that being pretty motivating for the right group of kids with the right personalities. Maybe he was trying to take the pressure away by saying they had already lost so that the kids could play a little bit more free? Regardless, if that's the worst thing he said all weekend, it must have been a pretty boring tournament for that to be 'the talk of the tournament.'
