i have only seen one of the au exhibition/matches...has au beat all the colleges they've played so far? As AU plays musical players with the opposing team, that's not really an easy question to answer. In general, I would say the AU players are only marginally better than the college teams they are playing. Ohio seemed to be having the most difficulty against AU, but I'm uncertain if that's due to talent or a lack of team chemistry as I'm fairly new to volleyball. i'm excited to see texas play au next week

correct me if I'm wrong... but so far Louisville was the most competitive with the AU girls ? just basing off what I've heard / seen on social media I haven't been able to watch any of the actual matches

In Wisconsin's defense, they were missing Franklin, TTA, and Crawford and literally starting a player who won't even be on their team this fall (Liz Gregoski).

The luper addition certainly doesn't hurt lol. bartlett and cresse also have seen significant time in match play as well in their careers Texas should be a good matchup, if they're healthy they look like the only team that can match the AU girls physically (assuming both teams are playing their 'best' lineup). lots of new pieces to that group tho so wouldn't be surprised if they look like they're still figuring it out but excited to see them against elite players, that is if I can find a way to watch it

Yes and other teams they've played so far are also in a similar situation. Spring rosters are always funky, especially now with such an active transfer portal. Seems like OSU and MN played the format they did because they couldn’t even field a complete team with all of the transfers/ injuries. It’s fun to just watch any spring ball, we rarely get to do that and it seems like everyone is enjoying it and having fun. Great to see such awesome homecoming receptions for players like TayMo and Hilley too,

Badgers would have easily taken that match to 5 and would have had a good chance of winning if Franklin was playing.

To be fair, the same Wisconsin group swept Marquette at a neutral site in a large high school gym, holding them in the upper teens in set scores, a few days before that.

How is this a "to be fair" statement

Great to see such awesome homecoming receptions for players like TayMo and Hilley too, Just thinking about questions that remained after the 22-23 season about specific teams and if the AU matches answered any of them, I was most impressed with Minnesota. They had a lot to prove (even in theses spring matches) and look to have improved across the board. Louisville and Wisconsin were definitely the most competitive, but Minnesota played with a little something extra, a little bit more dynamism. That may have been due to that team having the biggest questions marks after Hugh's departure, along with Booth and Wenaas transferring and McGraw graduating.

Yes, it's tonight. When I posted earlier, I thought it was the previous Monday for some reason.
