I wonder if Poland can make a power move in 2025. That is when Core teams are due to be revisited. Poland <-> Korea seems like an easy swap. (especially considering the amount of money Polsat is giving to VBW) do you get core status for being good or for paying or both? |

do you get core status for being good or for paying or both? paying. well, you have to be somewhat good, otherwise im sure phllippines can pay to get in. it's just nobody expected korea to flop this hard after KYK left.
They should not have core teams and just relegate the bottom two finishers instead.

Did King wake up and say I am only going to set my bff's Van Buskirk (and force some to my other bff Howe)? Sorry, not sorry. Can't stand King being cliquey. Van Buskirk doing well with it, but it started with setting her more sets than anyone compared to other players. Maglio gets a couple crappy sets...Gray not getting a perfect pipe so you can push it back to Van Buskirk on the slide (after just being blocked)? Gray will get it when Van Buskirk is out though. Salty, very. Glad they are winning, which is the important thing, but this doesn't help the team King. Is this based on anything factual or just speculation? Is it not obvious? She did the same thing to try and cancel Mitrovic the past two years...excessively setting Howe when many people thought Mitrovic was better or doing just as well. She successfully had a lot of people thinking Howe was better than Mitrovic. Thank goodness Mitrovic stuck with it and is now showing what she can do and Winzer best recognize it too. Or, when KVR is back will she start Howe? And, yes....I know many junior players who played with King and it was the same thing. She sets her bff's. Even today, she started trying to set Howe and forcing it to her. I am just sick of it. Set a balanced attack. Good on Layne to get so many points today, but there are other players who are capable as well and not receiving the sets. It is easy to get up for the match and into the game when you are getting all the sets and "having a game". King, it didn't work out with Howe...it is working with Layne for now and that is good for the team in some respects. It is not good when the other players are not getting the sets they deserve. And to be clear, I am not saying the other players feel they are neglected...that is my personal opinion. Sets today: VanBuskirk 18 Howe 17 Gray 15 Mitrovic 12 Maglio 9 And did Howe and VanBuskirk get points, yes...but who is to say the other players wouldn't have scored either and looked really GOAT. A couple of sets to Alexa were after thoughts you could tell...soft. slow..like the one Gray got blocked on in the pipe...King looked to see if she could set someone else first then after thought, short and low set to Gray. Don't bring Alexa or anyone else's confidence down by giving them crappy sets. |

If money and somewhat good is both take into account, they should be in. |

Im fine with that, you should have to earn your place. Core teams are lame |
