hmmm trying to think what 8 teams I want in dallas... USA, Brazil, Serbia, China, Thailand, Turkey, Italy, and DR I think Canada, Poland, and Germany would also be fine in there, but not over the USA, Brazil, Serbia (IF Bosko is going), and Thailand. somewhat indifferent between china, DR, canada, poland and germany. people can quote this and flame me if I’m wrong but from my understanding she will be there for at least finals week for sure if not more. The interview Gio gave he said he would be bringing the best possible roster minus a few older players to rest then and he named dropped Drca but nobody else |

This is my wide roster for Serbia prediction
S: Drca, Ognjenovic, Mirkovic, Cirovic
OPP: Boskovic, Bjelica, Caric, Taubner
MB: Aleksic, Stevanovic, Popovic, Kocic, Osmajic, Kurtagic
OH: Lozo, Busa, Mihajlovic, Milenkovic, Uzelac, Mirosavljevic, Tica, Lazovic
L: Pusic, Jegdic, Gocanin
Drca and maja speak for themselves Mirkovic is Mirkovic although at least she’s serviceable now if there were injuries. Cirovic is the future imo.
The depth at opposite concerns me. Caric has been great lately but she’s a walking injury bug and is never healthy. Taubner isn’t good but it seems that she’s the one primed to take that spot. I prefer Zelenovic though but she isn’t great either lol.
MB the depth here is incredible. Anyone from this list could start and I think compete with the top teams. Cant wait to see Minja with the senior team.
OH Uzelac is Serbias biggest overall talent in this generation and has potential through the roof and can’t wait to see her. The 5 outsides from wcs there isn’t much to say about as they are known quantities. I will say Lazovic is slipping more and more as time goes on and eventually might stop making rosters. I don’t like
Miro much.
Libero Jegdic and Pusic are both pretty great and Gocanin is solid too.
First match of the tournament for them is against the usa which should be fun. I predict this line up to start match one but could be completely wrong bc I don’t know what he’s going to value in terms of the first couple weeks and he’s a new coach so.

Aleksic/Popovic
Buša/Lozo
Pusic
I’m very not confident that I nailed that starting line up prediction but I would be shocked if I missed more than a couple names for the wide roster. Cant wait for NT season to start again though !
