Lol I mean they could read it either way. I don’t think it’s a problem for Santarelli to say it in a timeout… I’m sure Ze was saying the same thing about Nicole Davis in 2012 I think it’s problematic for VBW to try to make a thing of it on social media  |

watching the replay of Brazil-Turkiye game now. Say what you want to say about them but Turkiye is definitely a happier team with Santarelli than Guidetti.

just saw the dom/chn highlights and i am *SO* proud of dominicana and canada for their wins (over china and brazil) this week I just re-watched it too. Some fav moments: the point at 9-10 in the 5th set with China serving reminded me of when Santarelli said DR plays a 'strange volleyball', this was a good example. Then a few plays later it was the DS Yaneirys nailing a pass and over the top celebrating it. That's one thing I liked about that match - DOM won by consistently siding out the end of the 5th set. That's one of their biggest struggles. Jineiry really owned the 5th (though it did have her only hitting error of the match, a solo block by LYY) |

i really liked watching villani on replay today. she was fun to watch this year in serie a and i'm glad she'll be able to give Zhu and Britt a rest sometimes. hopefully we see her on the dub sub too. (kinda sucks she wont be starting full time though)
