Just watched the CAN NED game and I am happy we managed to finish the VNL 6-6. I thought coming in that 6-6 would be enough for top 8 but just out of reach. Alexa is a star. Maglio’s blocking was fantastic. And big shoutout to White who stepped up big time in key matches (i was skeptical of her at first lol). Van Ryk showed a lot of resilience coming back so soon after a traumatic event that is so hard to get through. The libero play also showed improvements from last year. And even though her offensive game can be messy, Howe was getting a ton of blocks so that was fun to see from her. I can go on and on about how they surpassed my expectations (Brazil, Serbia wins). It was certainly an exciting VNL from them.

if we want most likely bracket then it will be USA-Germany Brazil-Italy Poland-Japan Turkey-China I just want Brazil and Turkey to play again in the playoffs. If both Brazil and Italy lose, that's going to happen |

That so awful. Was someone under the net on the wrong side? I don't think anyone from Thailand was under as in a violation. They just all came down at the same time in the same space. There were quite a few injuries in the match unfortunately. Just an unfortunate accident then.  I saw a few center line faults during this VNL and it is scary! |

Wait what happened in that match for the abusive language? I meant the live commentary from Chinese fans, posting as they watched live. Chinese fans do not like their team to lose. Like they really do not like that. Especially when they got issues with the coach (Cai Bin), Wang Yunlu (comparing poorly to Zhang Changning) and Diao Linyu (just a bad setter). Basically Chinese fans regard Cai Bin as a complete moron who is out of his depths, that he plays favorites, makes poor roster choices, should be fired immediately, etc. oh, so just like USA |

japan has been doing well this VNL…can they potentially win the whole shebang? Japan always starts out strong in these tournaments but wears down by the end through either injuries or just fatigue (ie, higher error rate). |

So apparently one of the big reasons why Ebrar and co were so hyped up before the Brazil game was because Gabi said in an interview “we didnt do well in the last game, but we need to take 3 points and we will for sure take it from Turkey”
So Turkish fans are saying Gabi underestimated them and stirred the pot.
Whole lotta bulls*** if you ask me 😂

I don't think some event caused her attitude. Ebrar just wants to be Goncharova but she doesn't have what it takes. When she pulls an 'afronte' she just looks... cringey.

But i also just find her such a frustrating player on court, like you said, shes not at the level she intends to be (and for some reason every commentator thinks she is). |
