Just watched the CAN NED game and I am happy we managed to finish the VNL 6-6. I thought coming in that 6-6 would be enough for top 8 but just out of reach. Alexa is a star. Maglio’s blocking was fantastic. And big shoutout to White who stepped up big time in key matches (i was skeptical of her at first lol). Van Ryk showed a lot of resilience coming back so soon after a traumatic event that is so hard to get through. The libero play also showed improvements from last year. And even though her offensive game can be messy, Howe was getting a ton of blocks so that was fun to see from her. I can go on and on about how they surpassed my expectations (Brazil, Serbia wins). It was certainly an exciting VNL from them. i love this so much. 6-6 could have easily been 8-4 if this team was healthy :/ hope they get some rest before OQT later this year. also im petitioning athletes can play both beach and indoor cuz imagine mel at libero and brandie at opp 😠move kvr to outside. |

new rule: you go through 2 seasons without a win, you lose your core team delegation. challenger teams can place their bid to become the new core team.
i hope this doesn't age well. korea needs to prove they belong in this tourney.

I don't think some event caused her attitude. Ebrar just wants to be Goncharova but she doesn't have what it takes. When she pulls an 'afronte' she just looks... cringey. idk, it seemed like something set her off a little. But i also just find her such a frustrating player on court, like you said, shes not at the level she intends to be (and for some reason every commentator thinks she is). DEFINITELY something set her off. She was more cringe when she was younger but she got better with coaching. She doesn't act like this anymore unless they're losing and she's firing the team up or someone is acting out in the opposite team and/or have beef. Brazil and Turkiye had beef since awhile because of (mostly) Brazilian players running their months and the fans. Is this enough reason for the cringe act? NO. I was sure she was going to get yellow card at some point. Thaisa and Carol also responded same way, screams and all. Oh well, VolleyballWorld also keeps stirring it now, better grab some popcorn lol |

embarrassed for Guidetti rn is it really his fault or can the rest of the players just not figure it out together I'm not saying it's his fault, but how could you not be embarrassed by the way they're playing. They literally won the WC with most of the same players last year. |

Brazil and Turkiye had beef since awhile because of (mostly) Brazilian players running their months and the fans. Is this enough reason for the cringe act? NO. I was sure she was going to get yellow card at some point. Thaisa and Carol also responded same way, screams and all. There is for sure a beef between the fans, but between the players before this game?! If there was, which I doubt it, only from the turkish side. It doesn't make sense for the brazilian players to have any rivalry against the turks. There are 2 ways a rivalry is stablished: 1- Due to past incidents (there was none before this last game). 2- After a series of decisive or historic matches, commonly games with championships on the line (Turkey never made it to those types of games). It's like saying that Liverpool players have a beef against Luton Town players because the fans banter each other on twitter. |
