A new spotlight was on Kelsey and found the lerfect way to shine. Next we have the brown scrunchie. Also known by the Fashion Gods as Down Brown Clown. Dedicated Kelsey Stans will remember this new look appearing in the Volleyball Nations League 2021 tournament... and then quickly disappearing. Some call this era Kelsey 2.0 and the Cheerleader style reigned Supreme in Cook's best ever international tournament performance.  But the Down Brown Clown No Business Bun came with a price: a horrific performance against a Glossy and Glamorous Team China in Week 5. Who can forget Karch dropping bad language on the broadcast??  No one knows what the fate of the Brown scrunchie was. Did Kelsey conveniently leave it at home before Tokyo? Did it die on that court against China like Kelsey's confidence? One things for sure -- the weight of Down Brown Clown gave Kelsey a back injury that kept her off the court for most of the Olympic games. We're glad she retired it and not her career!  |
