Galloway used to have Twitch stream too lol. I think he used to play COD or fortnite or something. yea if he has extra income streams in addition to his family business then why not? He can retire when he's younger

Sadly, due to the fragile state of my body, I wasn't able to attend any matches live. His bic with the '22-'23 squad was a thing of beauty I saw it on TV but I could only imagine what it must've been like live! I never got to see Thelle play live either. But I'm so happy that I got to see Spyros and G in-person. Spyros had me shaking my baby like a damn maraca, ya hear? LOL!

I'm not surprised. I think his body isn't up to more competitive volleyball. Hawaii fans are so lucky to have seen him live! I was know my jaw hit the floor when I went to the GCU match. That's the reason mentioned. I hope you saw him live when Thelle was setting! Got a chance to see him live when UH hosted ucla at Manoa last year or was it the year before? Only time I got to attend a UH men’s game.

If this was indeed the last match of the season, Tread and Louis would be in Top 4 of Career Service Aces Per Set. Spyros ends his UH career at #7:
1. Yuval Katz - 0.541 2. Pedro Azenha - 0.513 3. Louis Sakanoko - 0.425 4. Tread Rosenthal - 0.406 5. Clay Stanley - 0.403 6. Delano Thomas - 0.387 7. Spyros Chakas - 0.36 8. Naveh Milo - 0.357 9. Dimitrios Mouchlias - 0.352 10. Rado Parapunov - 0.334 11. Jakob Thelle - 0.319 12. Brook Sedore - 0.307
The Voss is #5 in Total Blocks:
1. Dejan Miladinovic - 745 2. Jason Olive - 474 3. Patrick Gasman - 469 4. Dio Dante - 438 5. Guilherme Voss - 433 6. Taylor Averill - 406 6. Matt Rawson - 406 8. Costas Theocharidis - 380 9. Sivan Leoni - 360 10. Andre Breuer - 344
And as yall know Spyros is #7 in Career Service Aces:
1. Jakob Thelle - 122 2. Costas Theocharidis - 121 2. Pedro Azenha - 121 4. Brook Sedore - 119 5. Rado Parapunov - 114 6. Delano Thomas - 108 7. Spyros Chakas - 104 8. Eyal Zimet - 103 9. Yuval Katz - 100 9. Sivan Leoni - 100
Tread Rosenthal - 41 Louis Sakanoko - 31
If Tread and Louis can keep that pace, they'll end up as #1 and #2 by their senior year

I think Hawaii played well with the hand that they were dealt. Honestly how good would Irvine be if Henno went down? POY candidate and undisputed team leader who demanded the ball and held his teammate accountable. That’s what Spyros was to Hawaii. We have a freshman setter who is definitely still growing into his body. I would hate to bet against how much better he will be by next season with more training and more maturity. Next season will be a bunch of very talented but very young players playing together for the first time. If they stick it out they could be better than any of our championship teams.

Shout out to this team for another fun season of Hawaii volleyball. Not a lot of teams would be able to function after their star player goes down due to an injury, but this season did. Can’t wait to see how this team grows within the years as the newer players gain experience and as others join the team.

Was Chakas on trend to get close to Thelle’s number?

Didn't Kauling know Tread was coming in? Also, I feel like Kauling could've gotten more scholie money elsewhere for more than just a certificate at Hawaii lol I think Kauling transferred in before Tread made the decision to come early Here's the thing though, didn't the coaching staff know? There was an article about Tread and the others (Blanchette, Larson) leaving school early. Tread stated that the coaching staff had discussed and asked him to do it all along. So, they at the very least should/would have shared that information with Kauling.

Anybody want to guess what the attendance will be tonight without UH in the final? I'd hope that folks would still attend a match that has two powerhouse teams in Irvine vs Beach but that never seems to happen at the Outrigger tournaments, people just stroll in when they want. Did the games have to be purchased as a bundle or were they for sale individually?

Didnt know Galloway is hanging up competitive volleyball after this season. Just heard it from Tiff Wells I'm not surprised. I think his body isn't up to more competitive volleyball. There were a few times tonight and many more this season where he would land and kinda of grimace. Hawaii fans are so lucky to have seen him live! I was know my jaw hit the floor when I went to the GCU match. I always going remember Chaz when he was first inserted into that 2nd game series against BYU in March 2020. Young kid, he had short hair and he came in absolutely unafraid. The young man had balls. Came into the match and helped us secure that 5 set thriller. And he always turned it up in the post season even when he wasn't always up to par offensively during the season. It was his all around game im gonna miss. Mahalo, Chaz! If that was the last time we were able to see Chaz play competitive volleyball...it was honor to have witness in person when I was home as a season ticket holder.
