Amazing win for Japan, but they played a lot of their main guys in every match so far. I hope Ishikawa can rest for one match Could be very risky but maybe rest Ishikawa or Ran against Argentina like they did Nishida today. Make the other step up. Then in Week 3 they can rest Ran or Ishikawa against China? |

I just rewatched that interview with Ran Takahashi and the team celebration after the win. (Organic and respectful)

Week 3 matches in PH against Poland and then the rematch with Italy .. I hope those are bangers too |

Miyaura seems to be automatic in Ro1 where Nishida struggles to see the block there at times. But Nishida seems to have a lil more pop in his swing and height on his jumps, especially when fired up. Still it was good to rest him and have Miyaura play without losing too much

Canada finally gets another win but man are they frustrating to watch. Their defense needs a lot of work (except Currie, he gets a pass) and their offense is so predictable. They won mostly because of Bulgaria’s poor reception and errors
