just watched the replay - it'd crossed the plane of the net by the time she hit it, which means it was playable. point usa Off first or second touch by the opponent it has to cross over 100%, right? It definitely broke the plane but I don't think it was all the way over ... I tried pausing it at the right spot but wasn't able to get the definitive view. I thought as long as it crosses the plane you're good to play it? otherwise you can't joust... |

do we think we would've won if we kept JT in? was the annie sub the game changer? Maybe? Annie/Hancock have an advantage from playing together all pro season... although we see that didn't work well the longer the match went. JT and Micha need to find a groove, especially if Carlini is still less than 100% I think the Annie sub was important to build confidence on the 2nd set and carry momentum into the 3rd. |

Also Italy and Japan play each other, so the loser will be at a disadvantage |
