How much are we sleeping on italy as an olympic contender? Their mess of a euro squad came real close to beating Turkey last year after all

someone posted that italian teams will (if chieri win today) have won all three cev tournaments this year - novara won challenge cup, chieri in cev cup, and an italian team will win champions league It's what happens when you play the best teams and players in the world day in day out in your domestic league oop.

so random now that the semis are over - would imoco have beaten fener and/or ecza over milano? those would have been intriguing matchups too i think Ecza would not have been even close to Milano if you take how both teams were playing in these matches and compared. Milano block has been too good these two matches for a one dimensional offense. Though, Egon's late game domination on block and attack over Arina wouldn't have been as much of a factor because I doubt Ecza would be setting their lefts as much as Arina gets set in crunch time. Hard to tell with Imoco-Fener, because Imoco played two of it's worst sets all year to start the finals at home. I think they lose that match against Fener because the OHs passing would not have sustained, but I also don't think Robinson gets subbed.
