John Cook Red-White post-game interview Lindsay Krause & Harper Murray Red-White post-game press conference Is the volume low or is Cook the quietest coach I’ve ever barely heard?

hot takes floor defense was great. Choboy brought it and I thought everyone else (mostly) held their own. Maisie impressed me. blocking is going to need work, but that's fine. andi is a freshman. i would like to see better pin blocking from the juniors. Bergen was good. Time to get in the gym and work out the chemistry. Its lindsay's spot. It just is. Hayden impressed me the most, tbh. Compared to what we saw (or didnt see) last year. She'd probably start for half of the big ten teams after tonight. I hope ally enjoys her flights. thats all i got. actually i dont think any of those were hot takes. Disagree that Hayden would start for half of the B1G teams. She would start for MOST of the B1G teams.

The white teams team huddle at the end of the match made me feel uncomfortable lol. It’s like they really were two teams. That’s a crazy competitive gym. Lindsay still looked a bit miffed in the press conference. Becca went off on the ref after the phantom touch call. These ladies do NOT like losing, super competitive bunch.

I think NE can do really well as long as they stop switching lineups...Hayden based on what I am reading seems to be the 3rd OH...I like Orr but I hate when Cook says things are close when they are not to add spice and anticipation...he has done that before and it backfires on him...just play dude How do you not have some line up mixing with such a competitive bunch, and they all bring something a bit different to the table. Is the true strength of this team their ability to gel with a flexed line up? I don't know, but so many good players on this team. IMO, the setter is the most important piece that needs to be settled. Then getting Lexi and Laney to work as a consistent team (not that they don't/won't just still a question with me). After that some flexing should work out, and maybe needed to maintain a competitive gym. Just my opinion. Glad I'm not coach. Need to rewatch, but what stood out to me was that setting from both Bergen and Kennedi was quicker than the last few years. Let's the front row players take advantage of their athleticism to beat the blocks, IMO. The announcers were also commenting on the quicker setting and tempo, so maybe that biased my perception.

With all due respect when will the Texas VS Nebraska thing end....that's why people get annoyed with NE and it turns from disliking the fans to the players....they are two separate teams and to answer your question...Texas wins in the middle and pins vs NE NEVER! Next you'll be asking Ohio State and Michigan or Texas and Oklahoma fans to kiss and make up. LoL.

Minnesota traded up??? In what mind is having Kylie Murr for one year a trade up from having Laney Choboy for 4 seasons. If I'm MN I'm choosing Laney any day over Murr If you’re not even going to go back and read the original statement for full context, why even bother replying? Yo....... go to bed already 😴. Have mommy tuck you in and sleep it off.

I like how Harper walks with this confidence and poise in the way she plays....def not giving freshman vibes which is longtime needed and coming for NE...Lainey did well yesterday and IMO can take over Lexi who is slightly overrated this year...I wonder if Cook will have Lainey play over Lexi

I'm a Texas fan and I paid for BTN+ today solely to watch this scrimmage and maaaybe the match against Long Beach. It's hard to make a head to head comparison. The teams got mixed up way more in the Texas scrimmage. We also have 2 injured scholarship players, one of whom is definitely redshirting and the second one likely to, so ended up playing more walk-ons. NE really only has one walk-on (I'm not counting Mendelsohn as walk-on talent because she's not, y'all hit the jackpot with the bball scholarship situation) and IMO three consecutive #1 recruiting classes. So it's fair to say that NE top-to-bottom might have more active raw talent than any squad in the country. The question is whether they can be consistent - NGL, that 4th set was batsh!t crazy. NE has more depth at S for sure, even with Orr's limited mobility. Possibly also at L/DS - Choboy took a visit to Texas and I really do wish we had had an open scholarship. If you look at the 1-2 depth on L/DS I'd give the edge to NE, but if each team played 3 littles then IMO it would be even or maybe Texas would edge ahead. At OH, I'm gonna homer and say it's Texas. NE definitely has firepower but the efficiency wasn't there - all pins being below .200 is not gonna do it. At MB, also an edge to Texas. O'Neal is the best one from both teams and Bergmark seems to have found a new gear. At OPP really hard to say - Merritt has the higher ceiling, but Molly's trademark is her consistency How much was the BTN+, I saw that it was like $99/for 1 yr. $15/month

what was that drama people were talking about coming out of the white team in their huddle? at the end the white squad stayed huddled up for maybe a minute while the red squad waited at the net. That’s it, no real drama. After they did the under the net fives, the whole team came together—so it looked pretty collegial to me.

That person can't spell Choboy's name correctly. Adjust expectations accordingly.
