Big Sky! Last year Northern Colorado finished as the Big Sky regular season champion with 13-3 record. Weber State and Portland State were right behind them with 11-5 records. Who finishes at top this season?

If Richins finds her arm again, Weber State.

I was impressed with several players on the Portland State team after their scrimmage with Oregon this weekend. They looked stronger than when I saw them play last year. I think they could have a good season.

Will NAU bounce back from whatever happened last year?

Will NAU bounce back from whatever happened last year? Probably not. That is why they are predicted to finish 7th in the conference, possibly lower considering.

Big Sky starts the year at 13-15 after this weekend. Montana State went 3-0, PSU went 2-1, Weber State 2-1, Northern Arizona 2-1, and Sacramento State 2-1. Northern Colorado starts off 0-2, but arguably had the toughest games, vs. Stanford and Kentucky.

I'm a fan of Matt Houk from his days at Minnesota. I expect he will turn Montana State into Big Sky champions this season.
