rainbowbadger, we're friends, right? We can both agree to skip the Wisconsin/Purdue thread for Wednesday, yes? I mean, we already know what the result is going to be. Why put me through such public torture, you know? Why don't we just do a thread of our favorite Badger/Boilermaker moments instead! Like that time Carlini set Drews to 33 points in the 2019 VNL. Or when Carlini set Annie to 27 kills in the Olympic qualifier this summer. Or that 5 set barn-burner Purdue and Wisconsin had in 2016 at Holloway Gym. How about when they met 3 times in 2013 (2x in B1G play; the Elite Eight) when Carlini was just a freshman? Remember the good times?! 😭😭😭😭😭

I'll tag our usual threadmakers who cover these teams and others so folks can take a look at the table, see if the matches I've penciled you in for as "In Progress" are ones you indeed do want to make a thread for, etc- let me know where I'm wrong on it. Right now there are five matches that don't have an obvious regular match thread maker. I say we boycott Wisconsin match posts!  I will take the KS v KSU pair, along with threads for Hawaii’s, Minnesota’s, and St Thomas’ matches. If, after I’m done with those, Houston/UCF is still open, I’ll whip something up there as well. (Don’t let that stop you, anyone-else.) |
