I'll do Nebraska vs Cats/Hogs If the Huskers lose...I'm off to see the Wizard. So tomorrow if Louisville/Creighton run long on ESPN2, does Nebraska/GT start on ESPN+?

My understanding is that all the matches will be simulcast in full on ESPN+. So if the Louisville one runs long on ESPNU just head over there. What I don't know is if there's a cable channel that will pick up a broadcast if the preceding one goes long. In the past, ESPNnews has.

Should we quick figure out the E8 thread maker possibilities/assignments, or are there too many variables? (I’m available if needed, but assume that all the likely — and most of the unlikely — matchups will already have homers.)
Thanks for thinking about this and offering your services again!
This year, since half of the teams remaining have home team homer match threaders, I kinda feel like there are a lot of variables so I've been sitting on my hands about pinning anyone down. I was thinking we'd be fluid tomorrow as the results are coming in, and folks could respond about whether they want to make the Elite Eight thread based on how their teams did. It's generous of folks to volunteer in advance to do an Elite Eight thread regardless of their team's Sweet 16 result but I wouldn't want to pressure anyone into it.
There are two regionals that seem pretty clearcut to me about who would be natural threaders for the Elite Eight. If Nebraska wins, ilikecorn should (and most definitely will) take it since there's no other home team homer in that regional. If they lose, trainermch has the right of first refusal since it'll be an SEC team in the final regardless. In the Pitt regional, the winner of Creighton/Louisville should make the Elite Eight thread, either avid 2.0 or eazy . The other two regional finals could consist of two teams with homer threaders.
If folks would rather talk it out before then or outline the scenario(s) under which they want/don't want to make the EE thread, I'm happy to etch anything into VT table stone for us. Feel free to weigh in either way : )
So it was a choice between basic and super duper ultra mega threads? lol mmmkaaay

I can take this one, but I'll wait to post the thread until tonight because that would be a spoiler in itself.

Nah, just a prioritizing of homers whose team advanced and generally trying to maximize participation despite our opportunities running out : ) Always a bittersweet part of the season- sad we're running out of matches to thread but excited about the rising stakes of the remaining ones.
