As expected, CU REALLY needs to clean up their defense and serve-reception from the D/S and L. Jeesh.

CU wins, -21, -19, -22
COLORADO hit .337
- Howard 10 kills @ .909! Wow! Also 2 solo blocks, 2 assist blocks
- Tabron 11 kills @ .391
- Bolles 4 aces (and many more out-of-system). Other than Howard, Bolles really was the difference maker for CU as a serving specialist
NORTHERN COLORADO hit .275
- Harris 10 kills @ .286

Don't have the technical knowledge/ experience to make a thread, so just wanted to mention her that the (I assume connected to last night's match?) tournament Colorado (CU) is hosting in Boulder over the next 3 days begins today. Northern Colorado, Xavier and Charlotte are the other schools competing.
Matches are (All times Mountain):
Today:
Northern Colorado (UNC)- Charlotte (4:00 PM)
Colorado - Xavier (7:00 PM)
Saturday:
UNC - Xavier (3:00 PM)
CU - Charlotte (6:00 PM)
Sunday:
Xavier - Charlotte (11:00 AM)

In the 1st match of the weekend, UNC got the sweep over Charlotte -22 -19 -21.

Colorado easily SWEEPS Xavier (previously undefeated) !
-16, -20, -10
...and with a number of bench players for a good portion of the match
COLORADO HIT .452. XAVIER HIT .070
HADRYCH hit .579 on 13 kills!
She was one of 5 people that hit over .500 for CU!
CU had 10 blocks in 3 sets! The Buffs serving was superb and got Xavier out-of-system a lot. Hope that can continue.

In the 1st match today, UNC got a pretty easy looking (just looking at the scores; didn't see the match) -22 -15 -18 sweep over Xavier. The CU - Charlotte match has just begun, with Colorado up 8-6 in the 1st. (CU has largely emptied the bench to start this one, with frosh RS Dwinnell being the only starter tonight who, I believe, has started earlier matches.) CU VS. CHARLOTTE
Colorado wins 1st set, 25-15 with an almost entire bench team.
CU hit .400 with Burilovic hitting .571 on 4 kills
CU with 5 blocks in this 1st set

I love a Team B match. Playing time and experience help when it comes to being needed for future matches. CU being led by Burilovic with 4 kills. However, we won't be surprised if a typical starter jumps if a set becomes a struggle.
