She is passing a 1.86 so far this season as a backrow specialist. Well she did have back surgery during the off season. When I saw her play, she played well. Maybe a rough couple of matches has brought that down. I suspect if it was really hurting the Ducks, Thibault could jump in instead. But McClellan is a good server, so they dont want to lose that. Well I didn’t say she should be benched or that she’s bad. I just said she’s having a rough non con. She’s received the third most balls of their passers so far, so they will want her to be better in that regard. And I suspect she will, it’s still early in the season. |

Pepperdine must have some good servers, because they already have 4 aces, but only hitting .047.

Colyer picked it up and the Ducks swept 3-0, with Colyer leading with 16 kills. Ducks hit .545 and .457 in the last 2 sets.

She is passing well enough for Oregon to hit like .340 on the season against a slew of competent teams. |
