So Baylor went up 2-0 by scores of -13, -14. 😳😳 Rice had a massive (22-13) lead in set 3, and almost gave the set away, before winning it 26-24. Now in set 4, the announcers say that Rice needs to build on their momentum.. Hmmm. I think the momentum is entirely on Baylor's side. Hard to see Rice winning this one.

Why Baylor did not take a timeout sooner I have no idea. McGhee has been tragic in this run. And Rice’s server looked so uncomfortable back there.

The last two sets were close in score, but Rice was not playing like a ranked team... I think the biggest lesson to learn from Rice so far this year is how bad USC is. |
