A few years ago Ung was playing OH because WSU had a dearth of hitters (and they had Pukis to do the setting). Then the Cougs got Ryan, and now they have Isanovic too. Meanwhile Ung has gained a lot of experience as a setter (both here and in Mexico).

Will be a fun team to watch this season… especially with all the conference fuss! As they say.. Cougs v. Everybody

They are very good, but so is BYU! Lots of potential-got a few things to clean up!

Looking through the scores this wknd, I'm impressed by how adequately Towson held their own against both WSU and BYU. I think they got to 20 in all six sets lost, and beat BYU -14 in a set. I know they went 29-2 last year but they played such an awful schedule, they lost in the first round to a middle of the SEC Georgia team. Their marquee win against Pitt was their only impressive thing on the schedule last year, but the scheduling and the team both seem to be better this year. I'll take going out to Pullman and holding it together against (what I believe will be) two top ten teams (by the end of the year) vs. one mid-week win.
