Thailand running some really nice combo routes this match. I feel like they got away from that a bit this last year (probably due to ball-control/passing woes). But that's what makes this Thai team so fun to watch! The one-on-none hits that come out of nowhere

To the eye test, Poland and Italy look to be playing slightly cleaner ball than the USA.
I don't think any team is the clear favorite over the other but I do think that the USA struggles vs. larger blocking teams.
Right now, I give ITA and POL a slight advantage.
USA is going to have to serve tougher and play more clinical defense in order to win.
Dropping sets to Korea and Slovenia isn't a good look.

I'm glad Pools B and C will start being more entertaining now that the top teams are facing each other this weekend.
Pool A has been quite chaotic which we love.
