Ugh poor Germany, always a bridesmaid. Tournament's about done for them, but they were so close. Poland looked in poor form, hopefully they keep it up tomorrow.

Wolosz tried to keep Germany in the match about another Weitzel error gives the match to Poland.
Heartbreaking for Germany. They aren't OUT by any means (beating both USA/ITA still guarantees them in) but I'm not sure they have the horses to stay in the race.

Initially i thought that this would be a more competitive pool but these poland and italy teams have not been good. It would’ve been interesting to see how netherlands, the dominican or even Canada would’ve done. The netherlands and dominican both look better than anyone in this pool atm

Something has gotten into the Dutch...I had just about ruled them out and now they are making some noise again, and with a new coach and young roster that is playing some great ball right now. We love to see it! |
