What we're not talking about is how, once again, all these injuries/illnesses/etc is because we're not giving these atheletes sufficient rest time between club season to VNL to whatever continental championships to Olympic qualifiers. Their health is being put at risk too often with this ridiculous schedule. Something needs to change ASAP before all the major events will just be C squad players and whatever U21 victims they can pull together. Shut up. They’re not real people. They’re payed to get injured. Go eat a cupcake. Nothing else matters. |

Having Janiska and Drewniok back elevates Germany quite a bit IMO. If they still had Orthmann, I think they could play lights out and win the pool.
Underestimate Vital Heynen at your own peril.

They really could have used a solid ball control OH on their roster. Oh well. USA gets lucky, yet again. |
