I am still amazed at how composed this NU team is. They simply know they're going to win every time they step on the court. And Larson is becoming All-World. One of the best freshmen I've ever seen on a college court.

Nu_spike says NU block starting to dominate. I was under the impression that college women didn't block.

If women don't block, then what is Melissa Elmer leading the nation in? Swingless kills?

Final game was 30-19. Missed most of it due to thunderstorm blocking satellite signal. I guess there's always the repeat.

Laura Jones is a formidable player... She was the best hitter against the NU block this season... Pavan was breathtaking ..... Blast's repeatedly on the 10 line. Houghtellling had an incredible third game. Sale and Larson amazing and Sale close to a triple double... A and M played tough the first game...

I don't have much for stats yet but Pavan had 13 kills and hit .550. NU hit for .384 with 16 blocks to .105 and 5 for TAMU. Jones had 15 kills but no mention of her percentage so I don't think it was all that good. Jen S. missed a triple double by 3 blocks.
Pavan had one crush for the 22nd point in the third game that was just AWESOME. Griffin set it and she just left the court laughing so hard when Boomer came in after the point. I think the entire crowd was just in shock from that pounding on the ball.
