SD just not as effective when Stivrins isn't in the front row. Pries is not the answer. SC came from behind in set 4 to clinch it 3-1.

This was a match Southern Cal had to have.
Now 4-4 for the season with Illinois and Purdue road trip that they will now be making yearly up next before Pac 12 play begins for the final time

There have been a lot of doom and gloom predictions about USC this year, but they have played a solid schedule, improved every week, and seem to be settling on a lineup and figuring out their roles. They seem to be in a good place heading into Purdue/Illinois and conference play.
