First time seeing the Nebraska freshmen. Wow, they are talented. Really impressed.
But Choboy kind of underwhelms me. She looked like the weakest passer on the Nebraska floor. Maybe it’s just a match.
Stanford started slow and tentative but Baird again to the rescue. Just needs more production from Vicini. I love Sami Francis’ block cover.

Although I’m still picking Lexi any day, I think Oglivie has an edge in floor D. Lexi has moments of inconsistency where she misses digs that she’s capable of picking up. I just think at some level there are other factors that become more important. Both Oglivie are on such a high level I'd take either one as my starting libero and call it a day. But to me Stanford runs everyone 6 rotations, so it tends to give the floor defense edge to Nebraska overall, IMO. The difference for Nebraska this year is they obviously have a legitimate offense to go with their great defense. |
