Win by the close match, lose by the close match.
Purdue's noncon record probably now reflects what they deserved.

quite the conclusion to make in early September with a team led by a freshman setter and a freshman outside by go off on your future conference lol ? What are you even trying to say here? Emily Ehman said no nights off in the Big Ten while talking up Maryland and Rutgers. did Maryland not beat Wisconsin the year they won the title?

Purdue outscored USC by 4! Yeah, but SC had 14 more kills… frankly, I think the officials determined this… sort of spoiled the match…

I am impressed wit this new USC setter! I think they were better with her… Agree. That original setter was putting her hitters too tight into the net or way off the net. The new setter was much better. They should stick with the new setter going forward.

You can't argue net calls, the only other thing i could propose is you have to challenge right away, don't let a point play out and then say, hey 30 seconds ago you missed that. It creates long reviews and takes away from long rallies

Difference is that there are no inconclusive calls with the FIVB. It would be a disaster at the NCAA level, replays galore or whatever.

Ehman: "Back to back 5-set wins" Brad: "Well, we won that in 4". Sometimes coaches don't correct the wrong commentators and breeze over it.
