It's Parents Weekend at Utah
This match should be a good test for both teams. Cal was undefeated on the season before it played Stanford. Utah defeated Weber State but lost to BYU and Colorado. Both teams are rebuilding this season.

That elevation getting to Cal Eh, Utah is playing pretty clean for 2023 Ute standards and forcing Cal to score points. Cal lacks arms (apart from Li), so they kind of needed the free points, or this would be a challenge for them. This is one of Cal's better chances for a win this season (unfortunately they don't get the Utes at home), so if they can't pull this out they'll have to focus hard on OSU and Arizona. |

I agree Utah is playing well but Cal giving them a ton of opportunities with so many holes in their block. And Maeder isnt playing with matchups but thats probably because the passing is not the best. If Cal can clean it up a little more they can win but it all starts with that pass |

Cal takes set four -17. Cal hitting .382 for the set ( .180 for match), Utes hitting .125 ( .155 for match)
