The State outsides are terminating super well against what should be a better Gator block. They are doing a great job tooling or hitting around the block while Florida has had some good looks but hit directly into the block. |

Florida has really got themselves int a precarious position being down 2-1. If they drop this they could be in for a rough rest of the season.

This is beyond disappointing. I understand that Dixon is out; however, I do not follow the decision to use the libero for the OH's in lieu of middles. The Miss State middles really are not paying attention to the UF middles, and rightfully so as the slide is really the only attack that the middles are scoring on. We are now a few weeks from having adjust to a new setter, but offense is still struggling. We can talk about passing all we want but even in perfect pass/dig situations we are not able to generate points in chunks - side out and then give it back. Martin is so much better with a higher ball. I love to watch a fast offense, but not at the detriment of the attacker hitting just above the top of the net and into a block.

Martin has been hitting wide a lot more recently. Don’t really see any real issues with the sets on these occasions. I guess it could be enough difference that she is thrown off.

I can see this Florida team not being ranked soon after making it all the way to 3 in the polls earlier. Perhaps we are kidding ourselves about how far this team has fallen off from when Stucky was playing. They look like a middle of the pack SEC team now.
