About Pertofsy, when she is back, where do you think she will fit in? Wilmes hits well from the right side and she is a primary passer. Could she fit in as a middle? It is one way to start Barton, Endsley, Wilmes, and Pertofsky. She played a year at middle at Michigan, so isn't a greenhorn there.

I'm not sure she's ever played middle. She has.

Watching May hobble around, I'm not convinced that she's going to be playing anymore this season. Too late to redshirt. That would really be a bummer. Can anyone recall two consecutive seasons where the Huskies were bit by the injury bug (to key players) like they have been these last two seasons?

Unfortunately, injuries are part of the sport, especially in the women's game. At least she's not on one of those "roll-me" things, so there's hope she can come back. In the meantime, it's an opportunity for others to step up, which Audra certainly did.

She also was standing/walking in the boot without crutches, a good sign.

She also was standing/walking in the boot without crutches, a good sign. Her boot thing is not something serious. I have no insight as to whether she will play, but its not some season ending thing as far as im aware.
